Western Slope Area

The ski rental in the Western Slopes Area is open according to the slope opening hours. The ski rental is opened 15 minutes before the slopes are opened and closed 15 minutes after the slopes are closed.

The ski rental is located at the foot of the Western Slopes, on the ground floor of HimosBistro, in address Länsikeskuksentie 9.

Northern Slope Area

Depending on the season, the ski rental office in the Northern Slope Area is open on weekend and during vacation periods according to the slope opening hours. Ski rental is opened 15 minutes before the slopes are opened and closed at the same time with the slopes.

The ski rental office is located at the foot of the Northern Slopes, on the ground floor of HimosCafé, in address Patajoentie 210.

Returned helmets, pools and boots are always disinfected after use. Ski googles are not currently rented.

Advanced reservations only in groups, not individuals.

How to operate in ski rental

How to rent equipment

• There is an entrence to the ski rental customers on the slope side wall of HimosBistro, under the Bistro stairs.
• For easier and quicker service at ski rental you can register as a customer through online check-in service.
• Trafic lights on the ski rental entrance will show green when you can enter inside or red when you have to wait your turn outside.
• Our staff adjusts the skis or board for you and sign the rental agreement.
• Own shoes can be left to the ski rental for storage during the rental time.

How to return equipment

• After skiing day, please return your equipment in the return service counter, downstairs of Bistro. Our staff will mark equipment returned.
• Return the boots to the free service counter after you have changed back to your own shoes.
• When both ski rentals are open, you can choose the rental where to return your equipment.
• In several days rentals, you can take equipment with you to the place you are staying. Return equipment to the rental office in the end of the last rental day.

In Himos, we have the EasyRent rental system.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We comply with the terms agreed between The Finnish Ski Area Association (SHKY) and the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, regarding skiing services. The terms are available in our ticket office and on SHKY web site www.ski.fi.

All prices include V.A.T. We reserve the right to any changes.

Cash, most common debit and credit cards.

In the ticket office ski passes can be paid also with exercise and culture vouchers and mobile apps mentioned below. Please note that the benefits are personal and the user’s name needs to be written in them clearly.

Rentals paid with exercise benefits are not refunded or returned, in contrast to the contract terms for rentals paid in other ways.
